The anticipated sequel to the 2016 movie The Accountant finally released, and it did not disappoint.

The accountant 2 takes everything that made the first one good, ads some extra heart, and turns out great! This movie is a definite improvement on the first, the story is touching, the action is thrilling, and the plot is engaging. I very thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The one thing I will critique is that the film felt tonaly unbalanced. Going from one scene to the next occasionally felt like switching to a whole new movie entirely. Still, the great action, mystery, and heart of the movie mostly makes up for this issue. Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal were absolutely fantastic as a duo as well. I would highly recommend seeing this movie! It’s a lot of fun and a great ride all the way through.
The Accountant 2 improves on the first with a lot of heart, a great duo, and plenty of action.
Box Office
The Accountant 2 made $38M in its first weekend. A good, but not crazy number. Overall, the movie should be a good success for the studio, and with any luck maybe we will see a third!
